My client is looking for a committed and passionate JUNIOR SOUS CHEF to join this growing hotel brigade. This is genuinely a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for great, quality food to really make a name for themselves. The restaurant within the hotel has been developed with the food style being high quality English dishes; pitched between Gastro Pub and Top Quality hotel level. The menus boast BIG local provenance, it's not quite 'Art on a Plate' but almost!
Due to the stunning location of this hotel, weddings and events are big business, but there is scope for even more. Cover numbers are currently quite low so there is a huge opportunity to increase trade and build on what is already in place.
You will be an ambitious chef whose knowledge,experience and passion will help steer the hotel towards rosette standard food in the very near future. This is a very exciting time to join this vibrant brigade at this amazing hotel!!
Due to the location, my client is looking for somebody happy to relocate or live between Bristol and Swindon. There may also be temporary accommodation available if you will be relocating
There is a very healthy salary of up to £25,000pa depending on your background and experience.
